GIG NIGHT is proudly presented by the Working Musicians Program, in partnership with PBC. An evening of original compositions and performance by the students from the WMP. Join them for their professional debut at Dust Temple, as they work towards and explore future careers in the music industry as song writers, musicians,artists and performers.

Indi Jamie is an emerging singer-song writer from the Gold Coast, Australia. Drawing her inspiration from such honest artists as Mistki and Stella Donnelly, Indi Jamie blends Alternate Indie Pop with bitey lyrical undertones. Indi Jamie is set to release her debut single toward the end of 2019.
Zac Hubbard is an emerging song writer based on the Gold Coast, Australia. Heavily influenced by greats such as Pink Floyd and Queen, Zac’s carefully-crafted sound combines traces of vintage nostalgia with a contemporary Folk, Rock foundation. Having performed at Mullumbimby Music Festival and HOTA, Zac Hubbard is no stranger to the stage and is quickly gaining the attention of the Gold Coast’s creative scene as he works toward his 2019 debut release.
CY is an emerging Indie-Pop artist located on the Gold Coast. Influenced by Alessia Cara and Vance Joy, Cy sprinkles Folk undertones into her Alternative Pop sound. Cy is currently experimenting with Rap and Hip-Hop influences through her collaboration with local artist, Slaterr. Cy is currently working on her debut release, scheduled for release in 2020.
Bodie is an up and coming singer-song writer hailing from the Gold Coast, Australia. Drawing influences from Vance Joy and Dean Lewis, Bodie effortlessly combines depth of thought with colourful hooks to create moreish Pop-laced folk songs that leave his listeners wanting more. Bodie is currently working toward his debut release scheduled for 2020.
Singer-songwriter Molly Adey is an emerging artist from the Gold Coast, Australia. With endearing innocence and her acoustic, indie-pop sound, Molly Adey shares heartfelt stories about everyday life, set against a backdrop of nature’s landscapes. Inspired by the likes of Dodie Clark and Kina Grannis, Molly is currently in the studio working on her debut single, set to release in 2020.
Tomorrow’s Forecast is an up and coming Australian Indie-Rock band. Inspired by the sounds of Vampire Weekend and San Cisco, Tomorrow’s Forecast combines a youthful, quirky outlook with lively, jangly, Indie undertones. The four-piece are currently working toward their debut release for 2020.
Bayley Pearl is an emerging Pop artist hailing from the Gold Coast, Australia. With an endearing combination of audacity and grace, Bayley Pearl is quickly making her mark on the South East Queensland music scene. Achieving recognition for her song writing across a wide range of renowned competitions, including the Queensland Music Awards, Bayley Pearl continues to collaborate with both local and international artists on her debut EP. Bayley Pearl is set to release her highly anticipated EP in 2020, offering listeners an eclectic mix of Pop, Rock and Country fusion.
Shiloh K is a pint-size Contemporary Soul artist. Her inspiration comes from powerful female singers including Areatha Franklin and Amy Winehouse. Growing up in London and having had the opportunity to witness some of the best street performers/buskers in the world, Shiloh K began to realise her own talents and love of performing. With a mesmerizing stage presence and heart-wrenching vocal quality, Shiloh K takes listeners on a transcendent journey that leaves them wanting more. As her reputation grows, Shiloh K aims to release her dubut single to the world in 2020.
Melanie Mac is an emerging songstress located on the Gold Coast, Australia. With guitar in hand, and song in heart, Melanie Mac combines an Acoustic Pop sound with soul-filled delivery. Inspired by such greats as Ed Sheeran and John Mayer, this young talent aims to take her original music to a global market. With her debut release on the horizon, and an extensive performance background, you will want to keep a look out for the up and coming Melanie Mac.
Aaron Gannaway is an up and coming singer-songwriter from the Gold Coat, Australia. Inspired by the likes of Tash Sultana and Ziggy Alberts, Aaron Gannaway combines intimate, pointed song writing with loop-based ambience. Performing across South East Queensland, Aaron Gannaway is quickly attracting attention with his infectious melodies and gravelly vocal tone. His latest single ‘Can’t Lose You’ weaves emotive story-telling with acoustic instrumentation to create rawness and realness for his listeners. With new music on the horizon, Aaron Gannaway is preparing for his next release ‘Sunrise’ on October 12th, 2019.
Michael Alexander is an Alternative Rock solo artist hailing from the Gold Coast, Australia. Influenced by early 1960s Pop Rock and early Country music, Michael has crafted his own inimitable fusion. Michael Alexander’s compelling stage presence, humorous lyrics and refined sound is quickly attracting attention across the local music community as he works toward his debut release in 2020.
